10.04.2025

On February 27, 2025, the II International Teleconference organized by Alpen Pharma took place, focusing on current issues in the field of gastroenterology. The event brought together experts from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, as well as Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The main topic of discussion was modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD), one of the most common gastrointestinal disorders.

The Teleconference offered an in-depth exploration of the etiology and pathogenesis of functional dyspepsia, its main clinical forms, and its association with other conditions. Special attention was given to contemporary treatment strategies, encompassing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.

Among the pharmacological options, participants highlighted alternative therapies involving herbal medicines with prokinetic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties. In this context, the herbal preparation Gastritol was presented, showing high efficacy in the treatment of functional dyspepsia, particularly in patients with comorbidities such as metabolic syndrome and chronic gastritis.

Clinical data analysis revealed that Gastritol exhibits pronounced prokinetic, antisecretory, gastroprotective, and antispasmodic effects. It helps normalize the motility of the stomach and duodenum, promotes the restoration of the gastric mucosa, and reduces the risk of dysplasia and malignant transformations. Due to its natural composition, the product is safe for long-term use in both functional and organic gastrointestinal disorders.

Conclusion: The use of Gastritol as part of comprehensive therapy contributes to improved patient quality of life by normalizing gastrointestinal motility and alleviating dyspeptic symptoms.
